I have enjoyed photography for as long as I can remember, but I did not get seriously into it until November of 2000. It was then that I received my first Canon 35mm SLR film camera as a birthday gift. From that point on my interest in photography exploded. A whole new world of adventure opened up and my photographic journey began.

I did not have any formal training in the area of photography, so I started reading books, magazines, and searching the internet to increase my knowledge on how to take that perfect photo. In 2003 I signed up for an at home photography course through the New York Institute of Photography. Through videos, course materials, photo assignments and critiquing from professional photographers at the institute, I was on my way to improving my photography. I received my Certificate of Graduation in Professional Photography in April of 2006. I now use a Canon 5D and a 5D Mark III camera with a Canon 24-105mm IS and 100-400mm IS lens.
